Monroe Central Junior-Senior High School, in partnership with the community, maintains a supportive environment, providing

School Information:

Monroe Central Junior-Senior High School, a part of the Monroe Central School Corporation, is located on the western
edge of Randolph County in east central Indiana. Monroe Central, which opened in 1964, is a consolidation of Green
Township, Stoney Creek Township, Parker City, and Farmland high schools and encompasses approximately 85 square miles.
The existing facility, first occupied in April 1978, replaced the original building, which was destroyed in April 1974, by a
tornado.

School Day: 8:05 am – 3:05 pm, 7 period days, 9 week grading periods, 2-18 week semesters, 180 student days

Graduation Requirements: Academic Honors diploma: 47 credits, Core 40 diploma: 44 credits

Accreditation: Indiana State Department of Public Education.
