Model T Ford Club of America / Model T Museum
The Model T Ford Club of America (MTFCA) was organized in late 1965 for the purpose of bringing together people who are interested in the Model T Ford, its history, its evolution, and its place in the American scene. The MTFCA is the largest Model T club in the world with 6,000 members representing every state in the U.S. and currently 31 countries. Over 135 local chapters provide activities and fellowship for Model T enthusiasts in their own communities. We publish a bi-monthly magazine, The Vintage Ford, and administer the most active Model T online Forum as well.
The MTFCA owns and operates the Model T Museum established in 2007 and located in Richmond, Indiana's historic Depot District. The Model T Museum is committed to collecting, preserving, and exhibiting artifacts from the Model T Ford era for future generations through displays and events that educate people of all ages on the history, lore, and skills needed to maintain the car that put the world on wheels.
The Model T Museum has been the #1 "Things to Do in Richmond" on Trip Advisor for the past two years, earning TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence in 2017 and 2018. The Museum collection is housed in two buildings and includes Model Ts from 1909 to 1926 and many specialty Ts including snowmobiles, TT trucks, Speedsters and even an airplane. There are other interesting collections of Model T era items including clothing, model cars, and an extensive Library.
The Vintage Ford Agency building not only includes exhibits but also a Vintage Garage, Machine Shop, and Agriculture Display.
The Model T Museum in Richmond is the only museum in the world dedicated solely to Model Ts, the car that put the world on wheels!
The MTFCA is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
