Randolph County YMCA, Inc.
Since 1979, the Randolph County YMCA has had roots in the community providing high quality programs for individuals of all ages. The Y’s mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Y programs provide opportunities for social, academic, spiritual and physical wellness, while developing youth and promoting positive self-esteem. Since 2001, the Y has provided a valuable service to families in the community by meeting the emotional and developmental needs of children 6 weeks to 6 years old through the Y’s childcare program. In May, 2013 the Y continued its commitment to childcare with the opening of the Beynon Family Childcare Center. In March, 2014 the Y purchased Camp Yale to ensure the camp and its programs remained a viable part of the community. The Y currently has over 2,000 members, and also reaches 1,500 area youth through the Y's prevention programs implemented at all five county schools. The Y is a place where the community can learn, grow and thrive together!
