Summary
Small, innovative manufacturing business looking for a motivated and hard working manufacturing & design engineer. This hire will be the first member of our engineering team, and you will be expected to help build out our internal engineering processes (PLM/PDM setup and ECO processing) and hire future engineers as the group grows.
We have a proprietary line of machines that we sell to manufacturers of organic consumable products. The company has been in business for 20 years, but was bought by a new owner three years ago and is seeking to continue its expansion.
Typical Day May Include:
- New product prototyping
- CNC Programming
- Fixing optimizing existing CAD drawings
- Fixture design
- Equipment procurement
- Tooling selection
- ERP / PLM setup
- Process documentation
Location & Hours:
- We're located in Hagerstown, Indiana
- Shop runs 4 x 10s, Monday through Thursday
- Work starts at 6:00am and goes until 4:30pm
Job Type: Full Time
Experience/Certification Required:
Required:
- 5+ years manufacturing/engineering experience
- 3+ years CAD experience
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in engineering
Preferred:
- CNC programming experience
- Working knowledge of ERP and PLM systems
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing production principles
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Career Level: Experienced - Mid Level
