February 1, 2019 - DAK completed the acquisition of the PET Recycling Facility in Richmond, IN, USA from Perpetual Recycling Solutions. The Richmond recycling operations produce high quality Food-grade rPET flake with an annual capacity of ~100 million lbs/yr (~45,000 tons/yr) rPET flake.
The Richmond facility compliments Alpek Polyester’s current rPET operations by bringing Food-grade rPET recycling (Flake and Pellets).
The acquisition demonstrates Alpek Polyester’s on going commitment to sustainable product offerings and by meeting growing customer and consumer demand for rPET content.

Job Description and Responsibilities
Responsible for all outputs. This includes but not limited to Finished clean clear flake, green flake, mix flake, wet/dry fines, label waste, dry trammel waste.
Responsible for tagging and recording weights of all outputs.
Responsible for placing finished flake, green/mix flake and fines in staging areas.
Responsible for keeping production stocked with material so not to lose production.
Responsible for keeping the outside dock area and staging area open and organized for more efficient production.
Responsible for reporting all necessary maintenance repair items and safety concerns to the Shift Manager.
Follow all Departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Follow all applicable company and plant Quality, Safety, and Housekeeping rules.
Related duties as assigned.
Able to bend, lift and stand for small periods of time
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Good attendance record
Good performance assessment from Production Supervisor
Recommendation from Shift Leader
Fork Truck and basic computer experience preferred
Education Level: High School
